“Dear guitar enthusiasts, not too long ago I had the wonderful opportunity to get to know Duke’s classical guitars. I spent two days in the city of Tübingen and played on 17 different guitars. Among the diverse selection of models, both beginners and professionals can find their suitable guitar here. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the guitars for beginners. As a teacher myself, I know how important it is for a student to start their education with a good instrument. While recording the videos, I also found my favorite - the Duke Meister C. I fell in love with its warm and deep sound. Therefore, I did not return alone, but already with this wonderful instrument.”
Sofia Syliaieva (1992) began taking guitar lessons at the age of 10 at a music school in Mariupol. After completing her studies at the music school and music college in Mariupol, she continued her studies at the Glier Institute in Kiev and then at the National Music Academy. After graduating from the academy, Sofia began her studies at the Academy of Music in Darmstadt in the class of Professor Tilman Hoppstock. In Tilman Hoppstock’s class, Sofia received her bachelor’s degree and postgraduate diploma. Sofia performs both as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles.
